In late 1995, Christine Albert called on Chris Gage to play guitar in her band for a few shows. Jimmie Dale Gilmore's bandleader at the time, Gage happened to have open dates while Gilmore took some time off. What began as a temporary arrangement quickly evolved into a destined partnership - both on and off stage. By January 1997 Christine and Chris had officially joined forces and created the powerful musical duo - Albert and Gage - the focus of their professional lives ever since. Together they are known for their almost sibling like harmonies, the broad stylistic range of material that is the signature of their live shows, and the personal and musical joy they obviously find in each other's presence. Albert and Gage have released six CDs and the couple (who married in 2003) also own and operate MoonHouse Studio and MoonHouse Records, recording and nurturing other Texas artists. Chris Gage is a powerhouse multi-instrumentalist and sought after producer. Albert and Gage have toured across the US and in a dozen countries, on their own and opening shows for Jimmie Dale Gilmore and Slaid Cleaves. Chris Gage also plays guitar with Texas legend Jerry Jeff Walker and both Chris and Christine were featured on his latest release "It's About Time".
